Nobody pays us to feature their products — not with free samples, not with sponsorship deals, not with anything else. Every pick on this site we chose ourselves.
That said, this site does use affiliate links. When you click a product link and buy something, we earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate commissions pay for hosting, tools, and the time it takes to research and write this stuff. A higher commission rate has never made us recommend a bad sofa — and it never will. We pick products because they’re actually good for small spaces, not because they pay well.
Editorial Independence
Every product recommendation on The Compact Space is one we picked ourselves. We’re not employed by, sponsored by, or otherwise tied to any brand we feature.
A brand being on an affiliate network we use doesn’t guarantee a recommendation — and a brand not being on any affiliate network doesn’t disqualify one either. If it’s the best option for a small space, we’ll say so.
If our opinion of a product changes after we’ve published, we update or pull the recommendation.
Privacy Policy
What data we collect
Like any website, this site automatically logs basic visit data — your IP address, browser type, and which pages you viewed. If you sign up for our email list, we collect your email address. That’s it.
How we use it
Your email address is used only to send you the resource you requested and occasional updates from The Compact Space. We don’t sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone.
Cookies
This site uses cookies in two ways: standard WordPress functionality cookies, and affiliate tracking cookies set by Awin and Impact when you click a product link. These let the affiliate networks confirm a purchase came through our site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may stop working.
